The Level 4–5 Extended Diploma in Leadership and Teamwork at London Gate College is a 240-credit Ofqual-regulated qualification, equal to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. The programme provides learners with a comprehensive foundation in leadership and management. It equips students with the skills needed to manage teams, make strategic decisions, and succeed in senior roles across industries. Learners can complete the diploma through distance learning and later choose to study the final year physically in the UK.

 

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a secondary school qualification or an equivalent credential. For non-native English speakers, a minimum English language proficiency at A2 level is required. No prior management experience is necessary, making this programme suitable for beginners and professionals aiming to advance into leadership roles.

Programme Structure and Modules

The programme is divided into two stages. The Level 4 Diploma is equivalent to the first year of a degree and includes 10 modules with 10 written assignments. The Level 5 Diploma, equal to the second year of a degree, also has 10 modules with 8 written assignments. Each module involves around 40 guided learning hours plus 30–50 hours of optional study. The curriculum covers both fundamental and advanced topics in leadership and teamwork.
