London Gate College provides a clear, step-by-step guide to help you navigate your educational journey. It outlines where to start and the key steps you need to follow to ensure your success, from initial application to completing your program. This roadmap will help you understand exactly what to do at each stage of your academic path.
Starting from Level 3 (For Individuals Over 16 Without a High School Diploma)
Goal: Entry into university or advanced vocational education.
🟥Level 3 (Foundation Diploma)
- Suitable for individuals over 16 years old who do not hold a higher education qualification.
- Provides fundamental academic knowledge and professional skills, preparing students for further education or entry-level careers.
- After completion: Progress to Level 4-5.
🟥Level 4-5 (Diploma / Higher National Diploma – HND)
- Equivalent to the first two years of a university degree.
- Focuses on specialized knowledge in a chosen field.
- After completion:
- You can directly enter the third year of university (Top-up Degree).
- Alternatively, you can start working in your field.
🟥 Level 6 (Bachelor’s Degree – Undergraduate Program)
- A full university degree.
- Makes you job-ready or prepares you for further academic study.
- You also have the opportunity to complete your final year in the UK through our partner universities.
- After completion: You can pursue a Master’s degree (Level 7).
Starting from Level 4-5 (For Associate Degree Holders or Equivalent)
Goal: Completing a bachelor’s degree or gaining expertise
🟥Level 4-5 (Diploma / HND)
- Designed for those with an associate degree or equivalent.
- Provides in-depth knowledge in a specific field.
- After completion: You can progress to a Top-up Degree.
🟥Level 6 (Bachelor’s Degree – Undergraduate Program)
- Equivalent to the final year of university.
- Students can choose to finish their Top-up Degree in the UK with on-campus study options.
- After completion: You can enter the job market or pursue a Master’s degree.
Starting from Level 6 (For Bachelor’s Degree Holders or Equivalent)
Goal: Specialization or further academic progress
🟥Level 6 (Bachelor’s Degree – Undergraduate Program)
- If you already have a bachelor’s degree, you can skip this step and proceed directly to a Master’s degree.
🟥Level 7 (Master’s Degree – Postgraduate Program)
- Focuses on specialization and research in a specific field.
- If you prefer, you can complete your master’s degree at a partner university in the UK with in-person classes.
- After completion:
- You can apply for management-level positions.
- If you want to pursue an academic career, you can apply for a PhD program.
Starting from Level 7 (For Master’s Degree Holders or Equivalent)
Goal: Academic career or high-level professional roles

- Provides advanced expertise for specialized career opportunities.
- After completion: You can enter the job market or pursue a PhD.
Where Should You Start?
- If you are over 16 and do not have a high school diploma: Start from Level 3.
